Gates, 66, was joined by actress Elisabeth Shue at the tennis as the pair observed both women's semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek came out on top in her match against Simona Halep.
Sakkari and Swiatek will compete in the final for the Indian Wells title, and the winner become world no.2 in the WTA Rankings.
Despite all the action that was unfolding on Court One, Gates was seen yawning amongst the crowd.
